North Coast TAFE students studying Certificate IV in Digital and Interactive Games will be using this website to publish information about their progress and to promote games they are developing.

The first term was spent learning about the processes involved in developing a game both 2D and 3D. Students have also been learning how to use the tools required to create professional quality games such as Unity, Blender 3D, Photoshop and more.

Many game concepts, ideas and stories were discussed, documented and presented to the team for feedback and suggestions for improvement. A number of them may even be developed as side projects.

At the time of publishing we have two games in pre-production. One is a 3D platforming game and the other is a 3D RTS game.

I will leave it to the teams developing these games to tell you more about them and keep you posted on progress.

The current plan is to have these games released on Steam Greenlight by the end of the year.

Stay tuned and visit the Blog to follow progress and be one of the first to play or beta test our games.
